There are hiking trails marked throughout. The hiking trails will be marked with a T – either on stones, wood or signs. Old trails may have cairns to show a safe travel method over the mountain.

Historical Church
About 30km distance from town you can visit the Stave church. The church was built around 1130 and is listed with the UNESCO World Heritage.
Scenic Drive / Glacier
If you are up for a nail-biting drive, then you should take Road 55 towards Krossbu. The road snakes up the mountain with unbelievable views.
Driving the Sognefjellet National Tourist Road; is one adventure you do not want to miss. This passage is nicknamed “the roof of Norway”, with such high elevations and breathtaking views you will agree that is was nick-named appropriately.
The Mountain pass is Northern Europe’s highest elevation at 4,700 feet, along the route you will see Jotunheimen Mountains.
Once you reach Krossbu there you can see the Krossbu Glacier. There are several places you can pull over to park to catch the breath-taking views.
Water Adventure
Book an excursion to do the RIB Adventure. High speed boat through the fjord with an up close and personal visit to a waterfall.
